Life Moves Forward
Qantara Finance is a new financing brand, that's setting out to support the UK Muslim demographic by introducing a new Halal car financing service, where customers pay no extra interest on instalments.
With a big event coming up to promote their services, Qantara were looking for help with having a professional animation video made in 2 months, to premiere at the "Light Upon Light" event, in an arena seating over 100,000 people - so we reached out to help.

To completely rewrite and create a compelling brand awareness film to clearly inform who Qantara Finance is.
To suit the client's budget, we used 2D motion graphics with typography, subtle sound design, and a professional voiceover.
The film was a resounding success, with over 15,000 sign-ups on their waiting list over the course of 3 days.
The Journey of Life
With only 2 months to produce this film, we approached production by completely rewriting the initial script that was generated by AI; into a messaging that is much more clearer, easier to understand, and relates emotionally to working class people that needs financing options to buy a car.
To make it relateable, we focused on "The Journey of Life". As life is a journey, and you also journey from A to B in a vehicle, it made for the perfect overlap.
Minimal Design, Maximum Impact
We advised Qantara that taking a visually-minimalist approach would be more impactful at their current stage.
A creatively-ambitious film for a start-up that's still in the pre-launch stage, would highly risk over-promising & under-delivering, which would greatly hurt the brand's reputation and customer loyalty before its even gotten started.
We explained that a minimalist, motion graphics approach would not only be a more cost-effective investment, but would also be a safer for the business too, as it would manage expectations appropriately - while the aspired impact made on audiences would remain strong.
For audio, we used a Muslim professional voiceover artist and light sound design, and didn't use music at all - as it would be too distracting and take away the messaging's impact, while also respecting the religious practices for the targed Muslim demographic.
As Qantara is a completely new brand making its debut reveal to a big audience, it was imperative that there is as little obstruction in engagement between the content and the client. Our approach made sure audiences watched it, understood it, and it stuck.
The Verdict
The film resulted in being a resounding success, with Qantara achieving over 15,000 sign-ups to their waiting list, and being "the best-looking film at the entire event".
Attendees & business owners at the Light Upon Light event visited Qantara's stand especially to praise the film - hailing it as being professional, well-established, and trustworthy as a brand; while also asking who made it for them.
Qantara also later thanked us especially for our direction, stating that it helped them massively with handling mounting pressure of expectations from consumers, business owners, and investors alike while they continue to develop their business for launch.
All in all, they got no skepticism.
